Exporganic S.A. is an Ecuadorian family business producing bananas for several generations. In 2005 concerned with the negative effect of conventional farming in the environment as well as the health of humans, we decided to start working with organic and healthy products. By that time, we started exporting Premium organic bananas to several markets in northern Europe and the USA. Since early 2012, Exporganic is also certified Fair Trade, and since then exports to Belgium for distribution to other European countries under its Friendly brand, as well as private label brands. Exporganic bananas come from small and medium size farms located in several areas of Ecuador. By 2009, Exporganic started to produce several organic cocoa mainly for the organic RAW market in the USA. Among these products there is mainly cocoa beans with several fermenting levels, cacao nibs, and some specialty products like peeled beans, roasted beans, dried beans, Etc. For the beginning of 2013, we plan to setup a small dehydrating facility and start producing dried organic bananas, mangoes, and other fruit products, to take advantage of our constant source of these products which may not comply to our premium fresh quality standards, but are perfect for the drying process.
