Friultrota is based in San Daniele del Friuli. Respecting the artisanal philosophy of smoking and cooking, the preparation of our specialities is hand made (from deboning to the packaging). We use real smoke, not chemical smoking process, using wood and herbs. We smoke ( hot or cold) and we cook ( steam process) trout, salmon, herrings, tuna, swordfish, gilthead, bass, baccala' starting always from the best raw material. The trouts comes from our farm based 1 km far from the establishment. We prepare also condiments for pasta, and other specialities like trout caviar or trout cheeks
