Tentaka Brewery is located at the lush, green shouthern tip of the Nasu Plateau, which has since long ago been a fine rice-growing region. Since 1995, we have supported groups of farmers that grow rice which we use for producing sake from. From the beginning we wanted to make Tochigi Prefecture sake which is of high quality and rsafe to drink, but there was no official definition of organic sake back then. Later, when the JAS organic regulations were defined, we took that opportunity to accept the challenge of making "Tentaka Organic Sake."
