Fonti di Posina S.p.A., founded in 1976, is situated in a lush green valley at the foot of the Little Dolomite Mountain Range in the province of Vicenza, North East Italy. We produce Organic fruit drinks 30% juice, Orange, Citrus and Grapefruit, organic and Fairtrade (non-profit organisation) teas too. Green Tea from biological agriculture, we produce it by infusion and use exclusively Sri Lanka tea, grown in the plantations of Idulgashina and Venture Group under the control of the IMO and in full respect of the Equo & Solidale fair trading standards. These plantations apply biodynamic procedures: hand picked leaf harvesting, pruning, weeding and organic fertilisation being their main activities.The harvested leaves are sent directly from the harvest spot to the curing facility and, once dried, are steam treated in a rotating drum and rolled into small bars ready for packaging. This new range of products is bottled in an aseptic environment that uses a pressurised airflow to permits the production of beverages without having to resort to preservatives. For all this new range of drinks, the products are first flash pasteurised and then bottled in an aseptic atmosphere guaranteed by a filtered airflow in overpressure, and therefore do not require addition of preservatives. The Consorzio per la tutela del formaggio gorgonzola pdo is a organisation that oversees the production and marketing of all gorgonzola produced in the area it covers. Gorgonzola is a highly-prized food product, made only in specific areas, in Piemont and Lombardy. This delicius cheese, used by famous international chefs as an ingredient in superbly elegant dishes, is a true inspiration for every cook. Gorgonzola cheese has been recognised by the European Union and is allowed to use the PDO label.
Local wine producer
The company was founded in Salerno, in March 1969, transforming the family business of the founding members, began in the early '900 Cetara, devoting himself to the salting of anchovies in wooden barrels. From 1970 he started the production of anchovy fillets in oil. In 1980 he entered the field of tuna in oil, expanding the new, larger facility located in the City of Pellezzano. In addition to quality for the production of yellow fin tuna vessels are also using albacore tuna or tuna white. The flagship of the IASA is the production of the famous Colatura of anchovies.
